How does Oak's billing work?
Oak's terms of use say most prescriptions are configured as a subscription that renews on a recurring basis, and that Oak charges the card on file when a refill is due. You cancel by signing in to the site and choosing to cancel, and the product page repeats that plans can be cancelled at any time. Marketing copy promising no subscription is not what the binding terms describe, so plan for auto-renewal. One genuine upside: every dose of a medication costs the same, so titrating up does not raise the charge. The standard compounded semaglutide plan is $167/mo at the time of this check.
Does Oak still offer a new patient discount?
Its blog post on semaglutide pricing says new patients currently get $50 off the first month, taking compounded semaglutide from $180 to $130 and compounded tirzepatide from $250 to $199, checked 2026-09-03. That is the only discount Oak states in words on the site, and we have not re-verified the older OAKNEW50 code. Oak's starting price also differs by page, from $119 in the homepage FAQ to $190 on the weight loss page, so confirm both the code and the per-product price at checkout.
Can I buy brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound from Oak?
No consumer page on Oak's site sells a brand-name GLP-1, and there is no Wegovy, Zepbound, Ozempic or Mounjaro page (rendered check 2026-09-03). Its employer page does say brand name is available alongside compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide, and its blog names Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound as the brands it undercuts, so the claim exists in prose with no purchase path attached. For brand-name, NovoCare lists Wegovy pen $199/mo for the first two 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg fills through December 31, 2026, then $349/mo at standard strengths or $399/mo for Wegovy HD; oral pill from $149/mo, dose-dependent; LillyDirect offers Zepbound vials starting at $299. Use Oak for its compounded pricing, which is where it genuinely wins.
Is Oak Longevity safe?
Oak uses state-licensed physicians and licensed compounding pharmacies, standard for the category, and its product page says every compounded lot is third-party tested for potency and purity. Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved (they never are). The refund for patients who are not approved is a real consumer protection. The main caveat is thin disclosure: obesity-certified doctors are advertised but no clinician roster or credentials are published, no lab panels are offered, and no founding date or named leadership appears anywhere on the site (rendered check 2026-09-03). Verify the prescribing physician's credentials before enrolling.
