Henry Meds offers clinician-assessed weight-management programs with several compounded medication formats. Its plan cards show monthly-equivalent prices, but the lowest advertised rates require three or twelve months paid upfront. For example, the $99 per month oral semaglutide microdose card works out to $297 for three months, while the $197 per month injectable semaglutide card works out to $2,364 for twelve months, before any current promotion or checkout adjustment. Its FAQ separately says GLP-1 medication starts at $179 per month. These statements refer to different published price presentations, not a confirmed quote for you. What weight-loss treatments does Henry Meds list?
Henry's current weight-management page lists compounded injectable and oral semaglutide, compounded oral tirzepatide, compounded injectable liraglutide and phentermine. It also separates microdose semaglutide from its other semaglutide plans. Phentermine is not a GLP-1 drug, and a dissolving compounded tablet is not the same product as an approved branded pill. A licensed clinician decides whether any prescription is appropriate. Ask for the drug, formulation, route, dose and dispensing pharmacy before comparing plans by price.
How much would you pay upfront for a Henry Meds plan?
The plan-card prices above are monthly equivalents. Henry's footnotes say the $99 oral semaglutide microdose rate requires a three-month plan paid in full, while the other listed compounded plan-card rates require twelve months paid in full. We multiplied each published monthly equivalent by its stated term; these are arithmetic examples, not verified checkout totals. The page also advertises a new-patient discount without establishing how it changes every plan's final charge. Confirm the exact amount due today, any discount, the renewal price and whether the selected dose changes the bill before paying.
Why does Henry's FAQ say GLP-1 prices start at $179?
The same public page has a general FAQ answer saying GLP-1 medication starts at $179 per month, yet its individual cards show a $99 monthly-equivalent oral semaglutide microdose plan and other amounts. The $99 card requires three months prepaid and names a microdose formulation; the FAQ does not explain which treatment and payment term its $179 figure covers. We cannot reconcile these into one universal starting price. Ask Henry which card, dose, term and offer will apply to your assessment, and save the checkout total.
Can you cancel Henry Meds and get a refund?
Henry says you can request cancellation through the patient portal or support, but its FAQ warns that a multi-month plan may leave a balance due unless a clinician determines a medical reason to stop. Its refund policy says shipped prescriptions are generally final sale and subscriptions are generally non-refundable. It allows a possible prorated refund for medically required discontinuation only after documentation and clinical review; that is not an automatic promise. The policy also lists a non-refundable $30 consultation fee once a prescription is issued and possible processing deductions from refunds. Read the terms for your selected plan before committing to a prepaid year.
Are Henry Meds' compounded GLP-1 medications FDA-approved?
No. Henry identifies the semaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutide plans on this page as compounded, and its disclosure says those compounded medicines have not undergone FDA premarket review. FDA likewise states that compounded GLP-1 drugs are not FDA-approved and can pose additional risks. The approval status of an ingredient or a branded medicine does not transfer to a compounded formulation. If an approved treatment is available and suitable, ask your clinician how its evidence, supply and total cost compare with the proposed compounded prescription.
