MyDrHank GLP-1 Review: Prices, Tablets and Injections

The checked GLP-1 page lists two compounded injection options, semaglutide and tirzepatide, and a separate oral semaglutide tablet. It describes the injections as once weekly and the tablet as once daily. These are advertised routes, not dosing instructions for an individual prescription.

All three choices lead into the same GLP-1 assessment. Start there, explain which treatment you want to discuss, and let the clinician determine suitability. A product card or completed questionnaire does not guarantee approval. This review does not cover MyDrHank's separate ED, NAD+ or sermorelin services.

Do not make that assumption. MyDrHank's card calls it oral semaglutide but does not identify it as either branded medicine. Sharing an ingredient name does not establish the same formulation, absorption, dosing instructions or clinical evidence.

Ask for the exact product name, ingredients, dispensing pharmacy and administration instructions before comparing it with a branded tablet or injection. The public page does not give a consistent answer. Its expanded cost FAQ says the price stays the same at every dose. The pricing disclaimer says final pricing depends on the medication, dose and prescribed treatment plan. We therefore treat $171 and $200 as starting prices, not guaranteed ongoing rates.

Ask for three figures in writing: your first payment, your next refill charge and any different charge after a prescribed dose change. Also ask how many days of medication each payment covers. This resolves the useful comparison without guessing which sentence the checkout will follow.

The FAQ says the program includes physician review, a personalized treatment plan, prescription medication and shipping, with no separate membership fee. The shipping disclosure describes standard delivery within the contiguous US. Confirm any lab requirements, supplies and their charges because a complete itemized quote was not available in the reviewed material.

MyDrHank describes the service as cash-pay and says it does not bill insurance. Its page says FSA/HSA cards may be accepted; that is not a guarantee of reimbursement or a substitute for checking your own plan. The advertised clinical review time is typical rather than guaranteed, and does not include a promised shipping date.

The landing page advertises no contract and cancellation at any time. That is useful for someone avoiding a long prepaid commitment, but it does not tell you when an already-processing prescription becomes nonrefundable.

We did not find a specific GLP-1 refund schedule or cancellation cutoff in the reviewed terms. Before paying, ask how to stop the next charge, how much notice is required, and what happens if a prescription is declined, treatment stops or a shipment has already been prepared. Keep the written answer and checkout terms; do not treat cancellation as a refund promise.

The terms identify the platform operator as Dr. Hank, LLC and say that healthcare professionals are licensed in the states where they treat patients. They also say the current pharmacy-partner list is available on request. Those are useful starting points for checking the people and organizations responsible for your care, not a substitute for checking your assigned provider.

Request the prescriber's name and licensing details, the dispensing pharmacy's identity, and a way to ask a clinical question after delivery. We have not enrolled, tested its care or independently audited its dispensing pharmacies. No patient-experience score is assigned in this review.

No. The landing page itself distinguishes trial results for approved formulations from the compounded versions it dispenses. Its headline outcomes should not be read as a study of MyDrHank patients or of its oral tablet.

FDA says compounded drugs do not undergo its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality, and should be used only when an approved drug cannot meet a patient's medical needs. Discuss that decision with your clinician. An online appointment, a pharmacy registration or a lower price does not make a compounded product FDA-approved.
