What the Wegovy pill is
The Wegovy pill is semaglutide, the same active ingredient as injectable Wegovy and Ozempic, as a 25 mg tablet taken once a day. Novo Nordisk received FDA approval in December 2025 for chronic weight management in adults. In the OASIS 4 trial participants lost a mean 16.6% of body weight at 68 weeks alongside diet and exercise. It is a prescription medication; the programs below connect you to a prescriber and, where they dispense, to a pharmacy.
The price you will pay has two parts on every program here: the pill itself, and the program's membership or visit fee. Novo's NovoCare self-pay offer (checked 2026-08-14) sets the pill price the partnership programs pass through, and the table keeps the two parts on separate lines because that is how each program bills them.

Is the Wegovy pill the same as the injection?

Do I need a prescription?
