PlexusDx offers self-pay compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide as injections or oral dissolving tablets. Semaglutide costs $149 on the monthly plan, or $99 per month equivalent with $1,188 paid upfront for twelve months. Tirzepatide is $189 monthly, or $129 per month equivalent with $1,548 annual prepayment. Your rate stays the same when the clinician changes the dose within the same medicine and plan. Independent Lone Star Virtual Health provides the clinical care; PlexusDx coordinates the platform and support. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. The advertised $69 minimum belongs to a separate prepaid microdose program. Adults must pass clinical assessment, and Medicaid enrollees are excluded even if self-paying. Compare the full bill, renewal and refund stage before choosing a term.

Which PlexusDx medication and form are you choosing?

The injection and oral tablet have the same published price within each medicine, but they are different formulations. The links open that medicine's options: select the injection or oral form and the payment term there.

Published plan charges exclude optional add-ons, outside testing and any applicable taxes. Three-, six- and twelve-month charges are paid upfront and repeat for that term unless canceled or paused.

About PlexusDx

PlexusDx lets you choose compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide as an injection or oral dissolving tablet, with the same price when the prescribed dose changes within your selected medicine and plan. The monthly semaglutide plan is $149; lower monthly equivalents require three, six or twelve months paid upfront. Independent Lone Star Virtual Health clinicians decide whether to prescribe, and a partner pharmacy dispenses the medication. The optional genetic test is separate from treatment.

What's included with PlexusDx, and what costs extra?

Availability
Not confirmed. The clinician and pharmacy must be able to serve your state; availability is confirmed during assessment.
Insurance
Self-pay; PlexusDx does not bill health insurance. Medicaid enrollees are not accepted, even when paying for themselves. HSA/FSA payment eligibility depends on the account administrator and applicable rules.
Consultation
Included: independent provider assessment and clinically required phone or video consultation. No separate membership fee.
Shipping
Included. Pharmacy preparation typically takes 3–5 business days after approval, followed by UPS 2nd Day Air after carrier possession; this is not a guaranteed signup-to-delivery time.
Cancellation and refunds

Before clinical approval, withdraw at $0. After approval but before pharmacy transmission, a timely request can receive a full refund. After transmission, changing your mind or stopping the plan does not entitle you to a refund. Turn off auto-renewal in the patient portal before the next charge; email/support requests need at least three business days. A canceled prepaid plan keeps the paid term but stops the next renewal. Clinician-directed medical discontinuation and legal/operational nonfulfillment can qualify for refunds of unused, not-yet-dispensed prepaid months under the terms.

How does PlexusDx work?

  1. 1Choose the medication, form and term

Compare the monthly bill with the full prepaid amount. A menu choice does not guarantee a prescription.

  2. 2Complete a clinical assessment

Lone Star Virtual Health reviews your history and state eligibility. A phone or video visit may be needed. You owe $0 if treatment is not approved.

  3. 3Confirm payment and dispensing

The terms allow the charge after approval, while product FAQs describe charging at pharmacy transmission. Confirm the applicable timing. The pharmacy prepares medication if prescribed.

  4. 4Keep up with care and renewal

Use your clinical channel for treatment questions. Longer plans may require renewed clinical review before all prepaid treatment is dispensed; manage renewals or pauses through your portal.

Who provides clinical care and fills the prescription?

PlexusDx provides the platform, payment and care coordination. Its terms name independent Lone Star Virtual Health as the clinical provider. The homepage identifies physicians Abhishek Patel, DO, and Asad K. Niazi, MD, MPH, and names Vials RX (NI9 Health Group LLC) in Tomball, Texas as a pharmacy partner. Your own clinician and dispensing pharmacy depend on the assessment, location and prescription.

A named physician or NPI establishes an identity to check, not obesity-board certification or a guarantee about care. Confirm who will prescribe, how you can reach the clinical team and which pharmacy will dispense before committing to a longer plan. PlexusDx displays an issuer-hosted LegitScript seal; the current directory result was not independently read.

Are the oral tablets the same as branded GLP-1 pills?

PlexusDx's listed oral dissolving tablets are compounded preparations. They are not FDA-approved Wegovy or Rybelsus tablets, and the same molecule name does not establish interchangeable absorption, dosing or outcomes. The prescribing clinician should explain the formulation and the evidence relevant to your treatment. FDA explains that compounded drugs are not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing.

Who is eligible, and what costs extra?

The service is for adults 18 and older who pass clinical assessment in a state the clinician and pharmacy can serve. It does not bill insurance. Its terms exclude Medicaid enrollees in every state, even when they intend to pay themselves. HSA/FSA card acceptance does not settle whether your particular expense qualifies for reimbursement.

Provider care, prescribed compounded medication, applicable injection supplies and shipping are included without a separate membership. The genetic test is optional and never required to begin treatment. It is advertised at $99 for treatment customers; confirm eligibility and redemption timing. It provides educational information, rather than deciding medication or dose. No blood work is required at intake. Testing is available if elected or recommended, but the landing page's free-testing claim and the terms' exclusion of outside laboratories leave the exact included test to confirm. Optional checkout medicines and outside care can add cost.

When are you charged, and what renews?

Three-, six- and twelve-month plans are paid in full, rather than charged in monthly installments. Monthly plans renew monthly; prepaid plans renew for the same term at the existing price unless canceled or paused. The terms require agreement to a higher renewal price. A pay-later arrangement, if offered and approved, has its own payment agreement.

You owe $0 if clinical care is not approved. The general terms allow the plan charge after approval, while the product FAQ says the card is charged when the prescription is sent to the pharmacy. Those are different stages. Confirm which capture timing applies before authorizing payment; do not count on a later charge.

Can you cancel, pause or get a refund?

  1. 1. Before clinical approval: withdraw and owe $0.
  2. 2. After approval, before pharmacy transmission: a timely cancellation request can receive a full refund.
  3. 3. After pharmacy transmission: a change of mind, cancellation or pause does not create a refund right for that prescription.

Turn off automatic renewal in Manage subscription in your patient portal before the next charge is processed. Email or support requests should allow at least three business days. Keep the electronic confirmation. Canceling a prepaid plan stops the next term and keeps the treatment time already paid for; it does not automatically refund the current term.

The terms provide refunds for unused, not-yet-dispensed prepaid months when the clinician medically discontinues treatment, and in qualifying legal or operational nonfulfillment cases. A portal pause of 1–12 months preserves unused prepaid time and the existing rate, but restarting may require clinical reassessment.

Read the PlexusDx cancellation and refund terms. For a specific order, contact support@plexusdx.com and keep written confirmation.

When does medication ship?

The terms describe pharmacy preparation and shipping typically within 3–5 business days after approval, followed by UPS 2nd Day Air after UPS takes possession. This is not a guaranteed two-day delivery from signup. A longer prepaid plan is not a promise that all medication arrives in one box: product pages describe three-month batches, while dispensing depends on the prescription and clinical review.

If UPS has not taken possession within ten business days of pharmacy transmission, the terms allow you to request cancellation and a full refund unless you choose to keep waiting. Contact the service about a delay instead of assuming the shipping-service name starts the clock at enrollment.

Sources: PlexusDx shipping and nonfulfillment terms and product supply description.

Which payment choice fits your decision?

A monthly plan has a higher per-month price but asks for less upfront. Prepayment lowers the monthly equivalent while changing how much cash you commit and what happens if you stop. If your main goal is insurance-covered treatment or an approved branded product, start with those access routes rather than a longer compounded plan.

PlexusDx Pros and Cons

Good fit if
You want a clearly priced compounded injection or oral tablet and can choose a payment term that fits your budget.
Look elsewhere if
You need insurance billing, are enrolled in Medicaid, or want an FDA-approved branded medicine rather than a compounded formulation.
What sets it apart
The same published term ladder applies to both forms of each medicine, with dose-stable pricing within that medicine and plan.

What we like

  • Semaglutide and tirzepatide each have injection and oral dissolving tablet options, with all four payment terms published.
  • The same medicine and plan keep the same price when a clinician changes the dose.
  • The core plan includes clinician care, prescribed compounded medication, applicable injection supplies and shipping, without a separate membership fee.
  • Monthly plans are available alongside prepaid terms; an optional genetic test is not required to begin treatment.

What could be better

  • The lowest standard-treatment monthly equivalents require twelve months paid upfront: $1,188 for semaglutide or $1,548 for tirzepatide.
  • Stopping a prepaid plan does not automatically produce a prorated refund; pharmacy transmission changes cancellation rights.
  • Self-pay only. Medicaid enrollees are excluded even when they would pay for treatment themselves.
  • The oral products are compounded formulations, not the FDA-approved branded tablets, and a published menu does not establish clinical interchangeability.
  • Product FAQ and general terms describe different payment-capture stages; confirm which applies before authorizing the plan.

Questions about PlexusDx

How much does PlexusDx GLP-1 treatment cost?

Semaglutide injection and oral tablets each cost $149 monthly.

Three-, six- and twelve-month plans are $129, $109 and $99 per month equivalent, paid upfront as $387, $654 and $1,188. Tirzepatide injection and oral tablets each cost $189 monthly, or $169, $149 and $129 per month equivalent with $507, $894 and $1,548 upfront. These plans renew for the selected term. The $69 annual equivalent is a separate microdose program.

Is PlexusDx the same as Plexus supplements?

This review covers the prescription-care program at plexusdx.com.

Its GLP-1 plans are distinct from supplement programs and from an assessment of its genetic-test accuracy. PlexusDx coordinates the service; independent Lone Star Virtual Health clinicians prescribe and partner pharmacies dispense medication.

Can I cancel PlexusDx and receive a refund?

The stage matters. Before approval you can withdraw at $0; after approval but before pharmacy transmission, timely cancellation can receive a full refund.

After transmission, a change of mind does not create a refund right. Canceling a prepaid plan stops the next renewal rather than automatically refunding the current term. Medical discontinuation and nonfulfillment exceptions apply to unused, not-yet-dispensed months under the terms.

Does PlexusDx take insurance, Medicaid or HSA/FSA payments?

It is self-pay and does not bill health insurance.

Terms exclude anyone enrolled in Medicaid, even if self-paying. Eligible HSA/FSA payment methods may be accepted, but your administrator and applicable rules determine eligibility and reimbursement.

Is the genetic test required, and are blood tests included?

The genetic test is optional and never required to begin treatment.

It is advertised at $99 for treatment customers; confirm eligibility and redemption timing. The test provides educational information, not a prescription or dosing decision. The product page says no blood work is required at intake, and testing may be available if elected or recommended. A landing page advertises free blood testing while the terms exclude outside laboratory testing from plan prices. Confirm the exact included test and any outside-lab charge; do not assume every test is free.

Are PlexusDx oral tablets FDA-approved?

The listed oral dissolving tablets are compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, not FDA-approved branded tablets.

FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing. Ask the prescribing clinician about the formulation and evidence; the same ingredient name does not make formulations interchangeable.

Which GLP-1 medications does PlexusDx prescribe?

PlexusDx lists 4 options: Compounded semaglutide injection; Compounded semaglutide oral dissolving tablets; Compounded tirzepatide injection; Compounded tirzepatide oral dissolving tablets.

Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. A pharmacy prepares them for each patient.
