TrimRX does not practice medicine or prescribe medications. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy. Results vary by individual and are not guaranteed. See https://trimrx.com/safety-information for additional information.

Who each one suits

PlexusDx lists monthly semaglutide at $149 and tirzepatide at $189, plus lower monthly equivalents with stated prepaid totals. TrimRx's selected price-lock offer lists GLP-1 at $174 month to month and GLP-1 + GIP at $279; its longer-plan monthly equivalents do not establish the amount due upfront. PlexusDx makes the full prepaid commitment clearer. TrimRx's current terms describe a separate 28-day refund-request route for unused prepaid treatment attributable to future unfilled orders. Neither a posted price nor this policy comparison establishes which treatment is medically right for you.

What PlexusDx and TrimRx plans cost

PlexusDx

The same published term ladder applies to both forms of each medicine, with dose-stable pricing within that medicine and plan.

All 20 PlexusDx plans
How PlexusDx bills

Semaglutide is $149 month-to-month. Its $99 monthly equivalent requires $1,188 paid upfront for 12 months. Tirzepatide is $189 monthly or $129 per month equivalent with $1,548 annual prepayment. Three- and six-month plans are also prepaid. Dose changes do not increase the price within the same medicine and plan; switching medicines changes the applicable price. Optional add-ons, outside testing and applicable taxes are additional.

What do PlexusDx and TrimRx charge for the same payment term?

PlexusDx semaglutide injection and oral dissolving tablets each cost $149 month to month. Its three-, six- and twelve-month terms are $129, $109 and $99 per month equivalent, with $387, $654 and $1,188 paid upfront. Tirzepatide injection and oral tablets each cost $189 monthly, or $169, $149 and $129 per month equivalent with $507, $894 and $1,548 upfront. Prepaid plans renew for the selected term under the terms. Optional add-ons, outside testing and applicable taxes can add cost.

TrimRx's selected GLP-1 ladder is $174 monthly, then $166, $158 and $149 per month on the three-, six- and twelve-month plans. Its GLP-1 + GIP ladder is $279 monthly, then $266, $258 and $249 per month for those terms. The month-to-month option is explicit; the longer plans' charging frequency and full amount due upfront were not independently confirmed. Get that written bill before choosing a term.

TrimRx's general package terms separately list GLP-1 at $199 initially and $299 for follow-up, and GLP-1 + GIP at $349 initially and $399 for follow-up. Those are a different schedule, not an automatic renewal prediction for the selected price-lock offer. Confirm which written schedule applies; do not treat a price-lock headline as an unconditional lifetime guarantee.

The separate PlexusDx microdose protocol does not set the price of standard semaglutide or tirzepatide treatment. Compare a like-for-like prescription and term; the available figures do not establish TrimRx's annual upfront bill or a guaranteed annual saving.

Are you comparing the same medication and form?

PlexusDx explicitly lists four choices: compounded semaglutide injection, semaglutide oral dissolving tablets, tirzepatide injection and tirzepatide oral dissolving tablets. Its same-molecule link opens both forms, so select the intended form and term on the medicine page. Product illustrations identify the merchant's option and may differ from the dispensed packaging.

The checked TrimRx offer labels its plans GLP-1 and GLP-1 + GIP. That category label alone does not establish an oral product at the quoted price. Confirm the prescribed ingredient, formulation, dose and dispensing pharmacy before treating either quote as a match. Separate branded-medication services in the terms are outside these compounded-plan prices.

Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved finished products. PlexusDx's oral dissolving tablets are not FDA-approved Wegovy or Rybelsus tablets, and a shared molecule name does not establish interchangeable absorption, dosing or outcomes. A formulation preference is a question for the prescriber, not a reason to assume equivalent treatment.

What happens if you cancel or request a refund?

At PlexusDx, withdrawal before clinical approval costs $0. After approval but before pharmacy transmission, a timely cancellation can receive a full refund. After transmission, a change of mind does not create a refund right for that prescription. Stop the next renewal in the patient portal before the charge is processed; email or support requests need at least three business days.

Canceling a prepaid PlexusDx plan stops the next term rather than automatically refunding the current one. Its terms provide exceptions for unused, not-yet-dispensed prepaid months after medical discontinuation or qualifying legal or operational nonfulfillment. Confirm the applicable stage and keep written confirmation of any request.

TrimRx allows cancellation through the account or support. Before pharmacy transmission, the order is canceled and any applicable refund follows its policy. After transmission, that order continues to fulfillment and cancellation affects future unfilled orders. For a prepaid multi-month plan, separately request a refund within 28 days of the applicable payment for the unused portion attributable to future unfilled orders. After that window, the terms generally exclude that unused-portion refund, subject to the stated exceptions and applicable law. A cancellation is not itself a refund request.

Who provides care, and can either service treat you?

Both platforms require an independent clinician to decide whether a prescription is appropriate. PlexusDx names Lone Star Virtual Health as its independent clinical group and identifies Vials RX as a pharmacy partner; your assigned clinician and pharmacy depend on the assessment and prescription. TrimRx describes independent affiliated physician groups and participating pharmacies. Neither platform's marketing is an individual clinical approval.

PlexusDx serves adults 18 and older subject to clinical and state availability, and its terms exclude Medicaid enrollees even when self-paying. TrimRx's selected offer says eligible U.S. states; the reviewed material does not establish a Medicaid rule to carry over from PlexusDx or an individual state's availability. Confirm your own eligibility with each provider before paying or switching.

Both selected offers are self-pay. Insurance is not required at TrimRx, while PlexusDx says it does not bill health insurance. Payment-card or HSA/FSA acceptance does not settle your reimbursement eligibility. If your goal is an insured branded prescription, compare that access route separately from these compounded offers.

What should you confirm before choosing a provider?

Choose PlexusDx when its four stated medication/form choices and complete prepaid totals answer your main shopping questions, and you accept the commitment for that term. Consider TrimRx when its selected monthly offer or its written unused-prepaid refund-request route fits your priorities, after confirming the actual payment schedule and prescription. The refund policy is a decision condition, not a guarantee that every prepaid month can be recovered.

Ask both for the prescribed product and form, amount due now, next payment date and amount, clinician contact route, dispensing pharmacy and cancellation status. If you are already being treated, ask your clinician how to manage a transition; a previous prescription does not guarantee the same dose, acceptance or delivery date.

What to watch for with PlexusDx and TrimRx

PlexusDx

  • The lowest standard-treatment monthly equivalents require twelve months paid upfront: $1,188 for semaglutide or $1,548 for tirzepatide.
  • Stopping a prepaid plan does not automatically produce a prorated refund; pharmacy transmission changes cancellation rights.
PlexusDx's strengths, cautions and terms

Strengths

  • Semaglutide and tirzepatide each have injection and oral dissolving tablet options, with all four payment terms published.
  • The same medicine and plan keep the same price when a clinician changes the dose.
  • The core plan includes clinician care, prescribed compounded medication, applicable injection supplies and shipping, without a separate membership fee.
  • Monthly plans are available alongside prepaid terms; an optional genetic test is not required to begin treatment.

More to watch for

  • Self-pay only. Medicaid enrollees are excluded even when they would pay for treatment themselves.
  • The oral products are compounded formulations, not the FDA-approved branded tablets, and a published menu does not establish clinical interchangeability.
  • Product FAQ and general terms describe different payment-capture stages; confirm which applies before authorizing the plan.

Cancellation
Before clinical approval, withdraw at $0. After approval but before pharmacy transmission, a timely request can receive a full refund. After transmission, changing your mind or stopping the plan does not entitle you to a refund. Turn off auto-renewal in the patient portal before the next charge; email/support requests need at least three business days. A canceled prepaid plan keeps the paid term but stops the next renewal. Clinician-directed medical discontinuation and legal/operational nonfulfillment can qualify for refunds of unused, not-yet-dispensed prepaid months under the terms.

TrimRx

  • The selected price-lock offer and generic package terms publish different schedules. The $149 GLP-1 and $249 GLP-1 + GIP rates require the 12-month plan label; monthly plans show $174 and $279. Confirm the amount due today, plan length and written renewal terms before paying
  • Trustpilot shows 3.8/5 across 5,410 reviews, and 29% of reviewers gave one star (we checked on 2026-10-15); the BBB grades TrimRx F, lists it as not accredited, shows a pattern-of-complaints alert and counts 783 unanswered and 238 unresolved complaints (we read the profile on October 15, 2026)
TrimRx's strengths, cautions and terms

Strengths

  • One intake covers compounded GLP-1 and GLP-1 + GIP injections plus compounded oral versions of both
  • The selected price-lock offer lists monthly and 3-, 6- and 12-month plans: GLP-1 is $174 month-to-month or $149 a month on the 12-month plan; confirm the full payment
  • Online intake with clinician review; a short telehealth call can be arranged if further consultation is needed. The terms say compounded medication generally ships within 48 business hours of the prescription reaching the pharmacy
  • A published shipping policy that gives you the right to request a refund if your medication has not shipped within 14 days of the order, whatever the status of the medical review

More to watch for

  • The same paid-but-no-medication, billing, refund and fulfillment themes recur across BBB and Trustpilot, meeting our cross-platform delivery-complaints alert threshold
  • TrimRx lists brand Wegovy and Ozempic at $1,149 and brand Zepbound and Mounjaro at $1,249 as in stock, while the footer on those same pages says it does not sell, dispense or ship any branded medication and that you are responsible for filling the prescription at your own pharmacy and cost. Its compounded products are not FDA-approved finished products.
  • No insurance billing, so treat the monthly price as a pure cash-pay number. TrimRx does accept HSA and FSA cards among its payment methods
  • An offer page checked September 3 promised weight loss or your money back while also disclaiming guaranteed results. The refund policy is conditional: cancellation before pharmacy transmission allows any applicable policy refund, not a guaranteed treatment trial. Refund requests generally must be made within 28 days of payment

States
TrimRx does not publish a served-state count or a state list. Its terms say products and services are available only within the 50 states of the United States and that no international orders are shipped (verified 2026-09-03).
Cancellation
Request cancellation through your TrimRx account or support. Before prescription transmission to the pharmacy, the order is cancelled and any applicable refund follows the policy. After transmission, that order continues to fulfillment; cancellation applies to future unfilled orders. A refund request is separate from cancellation and generally must be made within 28 days of payment, except where the policy or law provides otherwise. Medical disqualification and billing errors caused by TrimRx qualify for full refunds. For prepaid multi-month plans, request the unused portion attributable to future unfilled orders within that 28-day window; cancellation alone does not refund it. The shipping policy checked September 3 also allows a refund request if medication has not shipped within 14 days, regardless of medical-review status. Keep written confirmation of both cancellation and any refund request.

Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold. Read the FDA's explanation of the risks.

PlexusDx vs TrimRx: common questions

Is PlexusDx cheaper than TrimRx?

PlexusDx lists monthly semaglutide at $149 and tirzepatide at $189.

TrimRx's selected GLP-1 and GLP-1 + GIP monthly plans are $174 and $279. Longer terms have different advertised equivalents, but TrimRx's full upfront bill and charging frequency were not independently confirmed. Compare the same prescribed medicine, form and term rather than treating those categories as interchangeable or calculating presumed annual savings.

Can I get a refund from either provider?

The prescription stage matters at both.

PlexusDx allows timely cancellation before pharmacy transmission, with separate exceptions after that stage. TrimRx's current terms allow a separate request within 28 days of the applicable payment for the unused prepaid portion attributable to future unfilled orders; an order already transmitted continues to fulfillment. Cancellation alone is not a refund request.

Does the PlexusDx microdose price apply to standard treatment?

No. The separate microdose protocol does not set standard semaglutide or tirzepatide prices.

Its medication and dose require clinical assessment, and it should not be used as the ordinary-treatment comparison floor.

Are the compounded oral options the same as FDA-approved tablets?

No. PlexusDx's compounded oral dissolving tablets are different finished products from FDA-approved branded tablets.

A shared molecule name does not establish equivalent absorption, dosing or results. Ask the prescriber about the exact formulation and relevant evidence.

Can I use PlexusDx if I am enrolled in Medicaid but pay myself?

PlexusDx's terms exclude Medicaid enrollees even when self-paying.

Do not apply that rule to TrimRx without its own confirmation. Both require clinical assessment and confirmation that the clinician and pharmacy can serve your state.
