How much does the Ozempic pill cost?

Government beneficiaries cannot use it, and the insured price works only for local pharmacy pickup. NovoCare's savings page shows that $25 copay as "for up to 3 months", and its May 2026 price guide states no month limit, so ask the pharmacy how long your offer runs.

What does the Ozempic pill do in your body?
It acts like the GLP-1 hormone: when your blood sugar is high, it raises insulin release and lowers glucagon.
It also slows how fast your stomach empties. The label lists nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, decreased appetite, vomiting and constipation as the most common side effects.
Is Rybelsus safer than Ozempic?
The Rybelsus and Ozempic tablets label covers both products, with the same warnings, and it does not rank either as safer.
Both tablets carry the boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumors. The Ozempic pen has its own label. Ask your prescriber which product and form suits you.
How do you take the Ozempic pill?
Take one tablet each morning on an empty stomach with up to 4 ounces of water, and swallow it whole.
Wait at least 30 minutes before you eat, drink anything else or take other oral medicines.
Is compounded semaglutide an Ozempic pill?
