Hers vs Willow: Which GLP-1 provider is better?
A side-by-side look at total cost, medication format, care, commitment and the situations where each option makes more sense.
Choose Hers if your priority is an FDA-approved option such as the Wegovy pill or pen. Willow is a different proposition: compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide with medication and care in one bill. Hers' $149 medication example totals $188 in the first month and $298 at membership renewal if the medication price stays unchanged. Willow semaglutide starts at $299 with care included, but higher doses cost more. Those headline prices describe different products, not interchangeable prescriptions. Which is better, Willow or Hers?
Hers is the more relevant starting point if you want brand-name Wegovy or Zepbound. Its public menu lists the Wegovy pill and pen, Zepbound and other approved medicines. Willow's listed semaglutide and tirzepatide products are compounded. A clinician must determine whether a particular prescription is appropriate; choosing a provider does not guarantee one.
Willow may suit someone whose clinician has recommended a compounded option and who wants medication, evaluation, physician messaging and shipping in the quoted program price. A bundled bill can be easier to compare, but it does not establish that the treatment is cheaper at every dose or clinically equivalent to a brand. What will I pay in the first month and after renewal?
For Hers' advertised $149 Wegovy-pill medication price, add $39 for the first month of membership: $188 combined. Membership then renews at $149, making the same medication quote $298 combined. This is starting-price arithmetic, not a fixed maintenance quote: the prescription, dose and offer terms can change the medication bill.
For injections, Hers lists the Wegovy pen from $199 before membership: $238 initially, or $348 with a $149 membership renewal if that medication price still applies. Willow's compounded semaglutide injection starts at $299 including care, rising to $399 at the higher tier in its July 9 pricing article. Both contain semaglutide, but the finished products differ. Ask for the intended dose's price rather than multiplying either starting amount by twelve.

Are Willow's tablets the same as the Hers Wegovy pill?
No. The Wegovy pill offered by Hers is an FDA-approved semaglutide product that is swallowed whole. Willow describes its semaglutide tablets as compounded oral-dissolving medication. Sharing an ingredient does not make the formulations interchangeable, and results from Wegovy studies do not establish the results of Willow's tablets.
Willow's help centre now lists semaglutide tablets at $299/month for all its listed dosages, with the usual program care included (price rechecked September 26, 2026). Its injection has a separate dose ladder. If avoiding injections is your main requirement, compare the approved pill with the compounded tablet first; then check the prescribed product's price and instructions with the clinician.

Do I have to prepay, and what happens if I cancel?
Hers separates membership from medication. Its Wegovy-pill page says medication can be billed monthly or upfront depending on the selected plan. Canceling medication alone does not cancel membership; canceling membership also ends the medication plan and access to care. Before paying, check both renewal dates and the amount due now.
Willow describes a monthly subscription that automatically renews. Its FAQ requires a cancellation request at least two business days before the next processing date to avoid the next charge. The stated full-refund condition is cancellation before the prescription is sent to the pharmacy. Monthly billing therefore does not mean a processed order is refundable.

What should I check before switching providers?
Start with the exact medication, route, current dose and next refill date. Hers says its clinicians review the current treatment during intake before deciding whether care can continue. Willow's FAQ also requires physician review and lists the states it serves. Neither public site establishes that every reader can switch at the same dose without a gap.
